This replacement for Stanley rebate planes is perfect! It fits exactly, looks great, and is cheaper than the beat up parts the antique tool dealers are selling!
If you are looking for a visually authentic part to complete your plane you could spray it with automotive heat paint, but why would you! This thing is great as is!! And
It fits Stanley 78’s, the 190-192 series rabbit planes, and the record 778!
And it includes the screw, which fits all of the aforementioned mentioned planes!!
