Woodyah has reproduced the small screw with the 10-28 threads. These are sold as SINGLE SCREWS. These are uncommons threads used by Stanley and many other manufacturers before there were thread Standards.
You cannot get these screws in hardware stores. The length is 3/8th on the Thread. These fit hand planes, spoke shaves, scrapers, plow planes. Look at the photos above. If there is a specific tool just ask.
I didn't just want to remake them. I wanted to do it better. My fingers hates thumb screws and dropping them. So I designed a big knurling slotted head so you can really tighten the screw with a good grip. I like these screws on my bench planes and have changed out and prefer these to the original ones. They also turn smoothly as the threads are crisp. People usually buy a bunch.
