We brought back the hard-to-find 6.5 mm–20 thread lever-cap screw in stainless steel — with a large, easy-grip head for confident tensioning. Proper fit on our new lever caps and on many antiques that were built for this thread.
Tip: If your current screw chews the slot, won’t hold tension, or feels “gritty,” replace it — threads or plating may be worn.

Will this fit my antique?
If your original hardware is 6.5 mm–20, yes. Measure with calipers or test with a known 6.5 mm nut. If a 1/4-20 feels sloppy or binds, your tool likely needs 6.5 mm–20.
Is the head truly easier to grip?
Yes — we spec a larger head and deeper slot for positive torque and less slot damage over time.
Will it resist rust?
It’s stainless steel, chosen for shop environments where moisture and fingerprints are common.
