How It Works

The Tote Turner installs between your plane body and tote, instantly changing your grip angle for a true shooting plane feel. It shifts your hand to a natural, neutral position for more control and smoother cuts.

Compatibility

Fits most full-size bench planes using the 2-hole tote pattern:

• Stanley No.5 and larger (4 1/2, 5, 5½, 6, 7, 8)
• Bedrock 605 and larger (604 1/2, 605, 605½, 606, 607, 608)
• Union and Millers Falls equivalents

Not intended for small smoothers like No.3 or No.4. or single hole totes. or modern planes.

Installation

1. Remove your tote and keep your screws handy.
2. Place the Tote Turner adapter on the plane and screw down with the new hardware.
3. Reinstall your tote at the new angle with your existing hardware.
4. Tighten screws, check alignment, and you’re ready to shoot.

Do I need to modify my plane?
No. It uses your existing tote holes — no drilling or permanent changes.
