The Stanley 151 is a favorite among woodworkers for good reason—but lever cap screws and blades often go missing over the years.
We’re now stocking stainless steel lever cap screws made to fit properly and hold strong, I stock the larger heads so it holds better in your hand when adjusting. I hate dropping screws. Especially into a wood debris pile. Hold the head and screw just like they should. You’ll also find blades available through a trusted link while we work on bringing our own to market. (Stay tuned!)
These small parts make a big difference. If your 151 is missing a lever cap screw or needs a blade upgrade, you're in the right place. We're here to get your tools back in action and keep you crafting. I'm also a big fan of matching screws and styles across my tools.
For now the blades I suggest these Taytools blades. I used them when I was a summer camp counselor for the woodworking program. They hold an edge and are easy to sharpen and they are affordable. Some tools don't need the bells and whistles. Some just need to be used abused and blade replaced!
