A brilliant design with a brilliant execution. I couldn't be happier. Make sure you check the model compatibility in the description, as the hole spacing on the plane body changed over time.

This is a very good product, Well made and very solid. I installed it onto my No. 6 handplane and was comfortable using the No. 6 as a shooting plane. This product has allowed me to have a shooting plane at a very, very, affordable cost. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to have a shooting plane but cannot afford one from veritas or Lie-Nielsen, or a Stanley 51 on Ebay (if you can even find one). Great communication. Fit my vintage Stanley No.7 perfectly. Makes a fantastic shooter out of rarely used jointer. Love it.
